This is far from the truth, this an awesome album and if anything its the most experimental album Sepultura ever did. The tribal influences of Chaos AD are bumped up to 11 on this album and boy does Max go crazy with his vocals. This album contains many classics from Sepultura including: Roots /5().

Blurring the line between mosh pits and tribal dances, Roots is a rush of down-tuned guitar chug, Amazonian rhythms, and industrial electronics. Mid-’90s groove metal doesn’t get any more funky or furious than “Breed Apart” and “Ratamahatta,” a riot of wildly clattering percussion with singer Max Cavalera venting volcanic anger at his government’s treatment of Brazil’s.

Breed Apart is the fifth track on Sepultura’s landmark sixth album, Roots. The album was groundbreaking in mixing Sepultura’s already evolving “thrash to groove metal sound” (from Beneath.
